New arrival to the JDM OFFROAD Everett location this 1996 Toyota Hilux Surf SSR-X Built on the 3rd generation N180 Chassis these Hilux Surf/4Runner set the stage for what a SUV could be. Undisputed champions of functionality and reliability. The Hilux Surf was the Japanese version of the 4runner, sharing nearly all the same suspension and chassis parts. The one place that they did differ was the engine. The Japanese had the option of the 1KZte diesel engine. This turbo diesel mated with the 4wd created one of the most coveted vehicles created. The 1KZte is a 3.0 liter turbo diesel with intercooler creating 120 HP. This engine was also used in the Prado and Hiace van. Due to its popularity and wide usage, parts are widely available. This Hilux Surf features a Retro Toyota inspired grey paintjob and matching black and chrome wheels. The Toyota grill and black accents create a striking combo.
