From top to bottom this Land Cruiser has been restored back to its former glory. You can only appreciate the meticulous work that went into this Land Cruiser by seeing it in person. Starting in 1951 the Land Cruiser has been Iconic for a vehicle able to concur the elements. The 80 series is the 7th body style of the Land Cruiser family. The station Wagon HD style seen in 80 series first started in 1967. The 80 Series started its production run in 1990. Made in some countries till 2007 the 80 series carved out a large market segment for a comfortable ride in any environment. Most countries got gas and Diesel variants the USA only received gas models. Japan received the most wide selection of the 80 series, witch is where this HZJ80 is from. 1HD-turbo Power with a Manual Transmission and triple lock. This is a perfect recipe for an amazing 4x4 Land Cruiser. The Engine has great low-end power and the turbo helps it all the way to its redline. The power is pushed through its 5-speed Manual transmission. Clutch engagement is smooth and consistent. The electric factory lockers also are simple and work without fail. The manual hubs are also easily turned when needed on the trail. These are calling cards of why this 80 series is peak off-roading. The cosmetics are no second fiddle. The exterior was well taken care of and restored to allow the deep factory Maroon paint to shimmer. The body moldings are also crisp and fresh, the dark grey is a great contrast to the red. The Interior is rich chocolate vinyl, fabric and carpet. The seats have been updated with sunset colors in a retro Recaro driver and passenger seat. This is a 5 passenger model without a third row present. New 17inch Grey Allied Wheels and 35inch Nitto Terra Grapplers where installed.
