There’s real thought behind the way these vans accommodate everyone on board, from the versatile seating to the comforts that make a long journey something to enjoy. This 2001 example brings together a 3.4L V6, 4WD, and seating for eight, with just 95,753 verified miles. For a family with places to go, or an enthusiast who appreciates Toyota’s approach to luxury, there’s a lot here to get excited about. Under the hood is Toyota’s 3.4L 5VZ-FE V6 gasoline engine, paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. The V6 is a fitting match for the Grand Hiace’s role as a comfortable passenger van, offering the flexibility for everyday errands and longer trips with everyone aboard. Four-wheel drive adds welcome traction when conditions turn wet or snowy, broadening its appeal as a year-round family vehicle. With fewer than 100,000 verified miles, this example offers an appealing starting point for years of travel and everyday use. The cabin is where the Limited really earns your attention. The middle row seats swivel to create a more sociable arrangement when parked, making it easy to sit together over lunch or take a break during a road trip. Folding them forward reveals built-in trays with cupholders and recessed surfaces for food and drinks, a thoughtful feature for those roadside stops. Both rear rows also fold into a bed, giving you a place to stretch out or settle in for a night at the campground without committing to a full camper conversion. Middle row footrests add comfort, and dual rear sliding doors allow passengers to enter from either side. Front and rear cupholders are provided, while a manual tilt front sunroof and a power operated middle sunroof bring light and fresh air into the cabin. It’s a space you can enjoy spending time in even after you’ve reached your destination. The driver is equally well accommodated with a power-adjustable seat, tilt steering wheel, power windows, power door locks, keyless entry, and power-folding and adjusting mirrors. Cold A/C and hot heat are complemented by rear climate controls and rear A/C, allowing passengers in the back to adjust their own comfort. The factory curtains remain intact and provide welcome privacy throughout the rear cabin. A backup camera and rear backup mirror help when maneuvering, and the soft close rear hatch finishes the list of thoughtful conveniences. Outside, the White Pearl and Grey Mica Metallic two-tone finish, color code 2FX, suits the Grand Hiace beautifully. The contrasting lower body gives definition to its tall shape, while the prominent grille gives it the presence you’d expect from Toyota’s premium passenger van. Aftermarket wheels complete the appearance without needing much else to make this Grand Hiace stand out. Load up the family, open the sunroofs, and give yourselves somewhere to go. This Grand Hiace Limited offers the space for shared adventures and the comfort to make the miles enjoyable for everyone. Whether you’re heading away for a week, spending a night at the campground, or putting it to work as a distinctive family daily, this is a van with far more to offer than the school run.
