- Engine fully stripped, inspected, and measured against Toyota specifications - Block decked, honed, deburred, and steam-cleaned - Pistons, conrods, and crankshaft all checked, polished, and confirmed within spec - Brand new performance piston rings, big-end bearings, and main bearings - Oil pump inspected (near new), clearances spot-on, fitted with a modified pickup to prevent low-pressure issues - All new oil seals and gaskets fitted throughout Cylinder Head & Top-End - Head hardness tested, skimmed, and inspected by machine shop - Rear water gallery modified for improved cooling - Cams polished, valves re-seated, brand new stem seals installed - Valve springs tested and valve train fully re-shimmed for precise clearance - Head fitted with genuine Toyota 7MGTE gasket and new head bolts torqued above factory spec Ancillaries & Final Assembly - New cambelt, water pump, thermostat - New iridium spark plugs and NGK leads - Front torque converter seal replaced while engine was out - Engine reinstalled with original hardware, ready for the road Why This Supra? - Rare to find a classic Supra with a fresh, documented engine rebuild - Mechanically strong – the “hard part” is done - Some cosmetic work/TLC still to do, giving the new owner freedom to personalise - A genuine 80s/90s JDM icon with proof of work and photos available
