1999 Toyota MR2 GT (Rev 5) Final Production (1 of 350)
This MR2 GT is one of the last SW20s ever produced, representing the pinnacle of Toyota’s mid-ship engineering. As a final-revision Rev 5, it features the most powerful and refined version of the legendary 3S-GTE turbocharged engine, producing 245HP, over 45HP more than any U.S. market MR2 Turbo. Exclusive to Japan, this model retained its full-power tune, tighter ratio 5-speed gearbox, and lighter chassis (by 120LBS), resulting in a noticeably sharper and more responsive drive.
The Rev 5 updates include a revised front bumper with larger intakes, aerodynamic rear spoiler, clear tail lamps, and re-tuned suspension for improved handling. With upgraded brakes, optional Torsen LSD, and Toyota’s final generation refinements, this MR2 delivers the most balanced, capable, and collectible version of the SW20 platform.
All maintenance is complete and up to date.
