Exclusive to Japan, the Honda Orthia was released in 1996 and had a great run through 2002. Popularity drove this car through the years as a Sport Utility Wagon as it was nearly impossible to find a task the Orthia couldn’t complete. With a slew of features and a spacious cabin the main priority of the Orthia was getting you where you were going efficiently and comfortably. Based on the 6th generation Civic and sharing a highly modifiable B20B motor, the EL3 is effectively a more practical Civic.
Powered by the beloved and reliable B20B. This motor can be found in numerous different examples stateside, and even the 4WD drivetrain parts can be sourced from the USDM Honda CR-V. The B20B is known for enduring extremely high mileage, and having incredibly cheap parts. The full time 4WD system allows for year round driving, and can be extremely useful for rural mail carriers that endure snow in the later months or as a rugged daily driver to get you through all weather conditions.
The exterior is in great condition and can be found completely stock. Factory optioned Honda x Modulo Alloy Wheels are fitted to give this Orthia a stand out look. Even the decals remain in good condition and continue to add to the overall desire of the vehicle. The hatch can be opened fully, or the glass can separately be opened to give easier access to the trunk compartment. Factory roof rails offer ease of installation for its new owner to install a roof rack if desired. This example also features factory option rain guards.
The interior features multipattern cloth seats that are in great condition and have manual adjustability options for the front row. The OEM floormats are in good condition with no staining or tearing, and all of the interior plastics are void of imperfections. Other interior features include power windows, power mirrors, power door locks, tilt steering wheel, air purifier, pop-out cupholders, hot heat, and cold A/C.
