Powered by the reliable inline four cylinder, 2.7L 3RZ-FE motor, the same that is found in domestic 4Runners. This makes parts sourcing and servicing options a breeze, as most local parts stores stock these parts. Arguably one of Toyota’s most reliable gas motors, evidenced by the fact it was used across a variety of different models and generations and is still a popular choice today. The 3RZ-FE fires to life with the twist of a key and is mated to a 4 speed automatic transmission that shifts comfortably through all gears. The selectable 4WD feature allows the driver to switch between 2WD and 4WD as needed.
