2000 Toyota Hilux Surf SSR-G

This is a 2000 Toyota Hilux Surf SSR-G. It is powered by the intercooled 1KZ-TE. It is a turbocharged 4 cylinder, 3 liter, diesel engine. The TE is more desirable because it has a different factory tune thanks to it being intercooled. The factory tune has 17 more horsepower and over 40 more ft/ibs of torque compared to the 1KZ-T in the non intercooled Surf, Prado, or HiAce. Mechanically this Surf is in excellent condition with a fairly recent timing belt and water pump job. This Surf has taken a trip to Portland, OR and back to Tacoma, WA, as well as some daily driving tests throughout Tacoma with zero issues. This Surf has brand new “General Grabber” tires mounted on the 3 piece aftermarket 16 inch alloy wheels. While surface rust is present in the rear-left arch, as well as the undercarriage, there isn’t any serious corrosion, the undercarriage has not been painted/undercoated. The suspension feels decent, not great. There are no knocks or sketchy noises when going over bumps. Overall I am proud to offer this one up for sale, and hope it can bring you tons of smiles per gallon.
