Condition and History

The Pajero Evolution was developed as a homologation model for the 1998 Paris-Dakar Rally. This particular unit is believed to have been repainted by a previous owner, with potential tape lines and overspray on window seals visible. The vehicle is fitted with a fender-mounted side-view mirror and aftermarket side steps coverings. Some paint on underbody components was applied before the vehicle was imported.

The vehicle's interior features repaired upholstery on the driver’s seat bolster. The power-folding mirrors are not functioning, and there is some rust in the rear tailgate opening. Other minor issues include a scuff on the front bumper and some peeling on the roof gutters and windshield trim.

The six-spoke alloy wheels have been powder-coated white and are mounted with 255/70 Bridgestone Dueler A/T tires. The vehicle is equipped with four-wheel disc brakes with ABS.

The Recaro front bucket seats and the split-folding rear bench are trimmed in dark cloth with patterned inserts. The six-digit odometer shows 127k kilometers (~79k miles), with roughly 1k added by the current owner. Wear is noted on the steering wheel and noise from the power windows.

The 3.5-liter 6G74 V6 engine features MIVEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 276 horsepower and 256 lb-ft of torque. The drivetrain fluids and the coolant were changed in 2025.

The vehicle has not been inspected by the California Bureau of Automotive Repair or Air Resources Board. It is offered with a clean Montana title in the name of the seller’s LLC.
