Under the hood of this example, modifications are minimal and offer a more audibly exciting experience with an aftermarket intake and HKS Hi-Power exhaust, which gives this RB25 that legendary sound it’s known for. Under the arches, you’ll find the stock split 5 spoke wheels are wrapped in new tires and are planted to the road with fully adjustable coilovers, and inside, an aftermarket Blitz turbo timer ensures cooldown is steady after spirited drives the HKS EVC gives detailed readings to the inner workings.

Inside, given its performance oriented powerplant, the Stagea RS Four V is well kitted in amenities. Sitting in the drivers seat, you’ll find controls for the transmission sit right where your thumbs rest. Headlight height is electronically adjustable with a simple toggle, and windows, mirrors, and locks are all powered. In the back, the Stagea really soars with features not often supplied in other wagons of the time. A soft close hatch gives a taste of luxury to keep the interior quiet, and cargo netting and full privacy covers ensure that whatever you bring with you, stays there.

Outside, this Stagea stands out with subtle but attractive factory style aero. The factory DayZ body kit gives low slung appearance that hugs the road and a large 260RS style rear wing further highlights the wagon silhouette. Large fog lights sit up front and give plenty of view to the road ahead in snow and rain. Behind, the HKS Hi-Power exhaust sits prominently, ready to belt out the distinctive RB25DET rumble.

The combination of features given to the Stagea create a unforgettable platform. Turbo, inline-six, and plenty of room under the hatch, the WGNC34 Stagea is easy to love, and thanks to the fact that its shared so many parts with its brother, the Skyline, maintenance and servicing are easy too. With limited options in the JDM market, you’ll be hard pressed to find another wagon like the Stagea.
