Known by many names until 1998 when Suzuki pushed for all to be called by one name, Jimny. The Second generation kept the winning combination of small Body on ladder frame construction. The JA11 Chassis continued the classic boxy suv with small improvements over the previous generation. The F6A is a 3-cylinder intercooled turbo engine producing 64 Hp was a new addition over the Samurai. Small changes to the alternator helped maintenance and reliability. Manual transmissions were common and enjoyed for being very tough and good for enthusiasts. Three speed t-case with a true neutral are great for getting towed. The suspension is Leaf sprung all the way around witch is great for articulation and easy to customize. This Jimny has a number of fun upgrades to bumpers giving it a more useful and rugged look.
