1997 Mazda Rx7 Efini FD3S Proshop Fukuho Demo car
Now available is this beautiful lightly tuned Efini Rx7. Built in Japan by Proshop Fukuho and styled after the “Tokyo xtreme racer white carisma” 2000’s video game car, this Rx7 is a must have. Our RX7 has been cosmetically modified and fitted with many hard to find and rare RE- Amemiya parts. These parts include a vented lightweight RE hood, RE aero front bumper, and the famous RE- AC987 Rear aero. Mirrors have been upgraded to color matched ganadors. The RE wheels are color matched white and are wrapped in Rydanz Revimax R035 tires. Exterior of the car is in excellent condition with no major paint blemishes, dents or scratches.
This is factory RHD twin turbo 5 speed rx7. The legendary 13b motor which debuted in this car in 1993 produced 276 horsepower stock and granted the RX7 as car of the year. Our FD’s 13b runs strong with minor modifications and tuning done in OEM + fashion to ensure durability as well as refined performance. The motor was modified with HKS intake pipes, HKS air cooler, V mount setup, and tuned to perfection on HKS F-Con Vpro. The factory sequential turbo setup functions perfectly boosting the car through the rev band with nice torque and acceleration all the way to redline. The car does not smoke on start up and has good idle on hot start or cold start. The boost settings are adjustable by the HKS electronic boost controller. The exhaust still has catalytic converter and has a stainless steel cat back exhaust which sounds great. Up front in the bumper ducts are dual oil coolers keeping the temps down.
These cars are the quintessential 90s driving experience. The handling feels like you are driving a go kart and the analog form of driving puts it all on the driver. These lightweight cars feel very fast and handling is tight thanks to the Tein coil over suspension which can be setup from stiff to soft based on your driving preference. Stopping power has been increased with slotted rotors front and rear.
Interior shows nicely throughout. The seats are in good condition front and rear. Driver seat has been upgraded to a fixed Bride bucket seat. The factory steering wheel has been upgraded to a MOMO 3 spoke steering wheel with a works bell quick disconnect to remove the steering wheel if desired. A Panasonic radio has been installed with AUX connectivity. The center console is in good shape with no major wear. Air conditioning blows hard and is ice cold. All power functions work as they should including the pop up headlights fitted with HIDs, the power windows and power steering.
Bottom of the car is in very good shape with no rust. All components underneath look solid with no signs of any leakage anywhere.
